The few days we enjoyed here just wasnt long enough and we look forward to coming back again next autumn.

There are paddocks with elk, geese, deer, cows, aviaries with chickens, a rooster, peacock, peahens and other exotic birds. And it has its own orchards filled with fruit and nut trees. The owner also keeps bees and if you're lucky you can get fresh honey for breakfast. We stayed in the family villa, which could do with more than 1 toilet and bathroom and dated decor, but the whole experience more than made up for that. There are many things to do in Mt Beauty and the area. We went tandem paragliding, took a joy helicopter flight, went hiking and swimming in the river, trekked to Mt Beauty Gorge (which is a bit like in the Northern Territory with tall cliffs along the river), enjoyed the little cafes and restaurants which are dog friendly.
